“What can I say? EVERYTHING is perfect at Greg and Angies. First, the place: Centrally located in Kensington, you are never more than a short car ride from Summerside, Charlottetown, or Anne’s Land, but you honestly may never want to leave the house. The room and amenities are spotlessly clean, welcoming and comfortable. Our room (Anna’s) had an enormous and comfortable King bed, coffee maker, tv, full bathroom with jacuzzi tub and shower. Everything you need is in the room and already thought of and provided by the hosts. The house is truly beautiful as Greg and Angie have done an amazing job restoring the old and rich feel and heritage of the homestead. (Be sure to check out the artwork and incredible 1902 oven which are on display in the home!) Breakfast is very plentiful and out of this world, as Angie is also a phenomenal cook….please have the homemade pancakes (from a handed down recipe) that is incredible! My wife said the omelette was so good she wishes she could bring them back to Halifax. Second, the hosts: The best hosts we’ve had for any AirBnb stay! Always available, warm, welcoming, and so very easy to talk/chat with. The type of people you can easily sit down and share coffee, stories, and experiences with and feel like you’ve known them for years. Angie and Greg are the true stars when staying and they make the The Home Place Inn what it is! They truly do want you to have an amazing time and amazing stay while there! ***make sure to actually read the room rules (as there is a great treat in there for people who take the time to read it)!”
